Apparatus for supporting at least a part of an engine, the engine comprising: an engine stand configured to support at least a part of an engine; an accelerometer coupled to the engine stand and configured to: measure acceleration of the engine stand, and generate accelerometer data; and a first processor configured to receive the accelerometer data from the accelerometer.

An apparatus for supporting at least a part of an engine, the apparatus comprising:
- an engine stand configured to support at least a part of an engine;
- an accelerometer coupled to the engine stand and configured to measure acceleration of the engine stand and generate accelerometer data;
- a first processor coupled to the engine stand configured to receive the accelerometer data from the accelerometer;
- a first memory, the first processor being configured to control the first memory to store the received accelerometer data;
- and
- a first transmitter, the first processor being configured to control the first transmitter to transmit the accelerometer data.
