Abstract
A motorized window shade system may comprise a shade tube in a pocket; a window shade attached to the shade tube; a motor configured to rotate the shade tube; an internal temperature sensor configured to measure a first temperature of the motor, an external temperature sensor configured to measure a second temperature of the pocket; and a controller configured to adjust a mode of the system from an override mode to an automated mode.
Claims19
A method comprising:
- determining, by one or more processors, at least one of a changed vibration amplitude, a changed vibration frequency, a changed temperature, or a changed vibration pattern of a motor, based on a second input from a first accelerometer associated with the motor at a second timeframe compared to a first timeframe;
- and
- adjusting, by the one or more processors, operating parameters of the motor to compensate for at least one of the changed vibration amplitude, the changed vibration frequency, the changed temperature, or the changed vibration pattern of the motor,
- wherein the adjusting the operating parameters includes reducing a temperature reading from a temperature sensor associated with the motor to compensate for extra heat from a degradation of the motor such that the one or more processors do not activate an alarm signal in response to a higher temperature resulting from the degradation of the motor.
An article of manufacture including one or more non-transitory, tangible computer readable storage mediums having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
- determining, by the one or more processors, at least one of a changed vibration amplitude, a changed vibration frequency or a changed vibration pattern of a motor, based on a second input from a first accelerometer associated with the motor at a second timeframe compared to a first timeframe;
- and
- adjusting, by the one or more processors, operating parameters of the motor to compensate for at least one of the changed vibration amplitude, the changed vibration frequency or the changed vibration pattern of the motor,
- wherein the adjusting the operating parameters includes reducing a temperature reading from a temperature sensor associated with the motor to compensate for extra heat from a degradation of the motor such that the one or more processors do not activate an alarm signal in response to a higher temperature resulting from the degradation of the motor.
A system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- one or more tangible, non-transitory memories configured to communicate with the one or more processors, the one or more tangible, non-transitory memories having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
- determining, by the one or more processors, at least one of a changed vibration amplitude, a changed vibration frequency or a changed vibration pattern of a motor, based on a second input from a first accelerometer associated with the motor at a second timeframe compared to a first timeframe;
- and
- adjusting, by the one or more processors, operating parameters of the motor to compensate for at least one of the changed vibration amplitude, the changed vibration frequency or the changed vibration pattern of the motor,
- wherein the adjusting the operating parameters includes reducing a temperature reading from a temperature sensor associated with the motor to compensate for extra heat from a degradation of the motor such that the one or more processors do not activate an alarm signal in response to a higher temperature resulting from the degradation of the motor.
