Abstract
The present invention provides isolated cell compositions for the treatment of cancer, including hematological and solid tumors, comprising a selected, fixed ratio of multiple ex vivo activated lymphocytic cell subsets, including specific immune effector cells directed to specific tumor associated antigens (TAAs), viral associated tumor antigens (VATA), glycolipids, or a combination thereof. By selecting specific fixed ratios of different lymphocytic cell subsets, an immune response which is comprehensive and broad pin biological and immune effector function is provided, enhancing the ability of the administered cells to mount an effective and robust immune response.
Claims5
An isolated, non-engineered lymphocytic cell composition for administration to a patient with tumor, wherein the isolated, non-engineered lymphocytic cell composition comprises a predetermined ratio of activated CD4+ T-cells, activated CD8+ T-cells, and activated CD3+ natural killer T (NKT)-cells, wherein the isolated, non-engineered lymphocytic cell composition comprises:
- i) from 5% to 25% activated CD4+ T-cells;
- ii) from 25% to 55% activated CD8+ T-cells;
- and
- iii) from 7.5% to 35% activated CD3+NKT-cells, and
- wherein the activated CD4+ T-cells and the activated CD8+ T-cells have been primed ex vivo against one or more tumor associated antigens (TAAs), and wherein the one or more tumor associated antigens (TAAs) are selected from the group consisting of Wilms Tumor 1 (WT1), preferentially expressed antigen in melanoma (PRAME), survivin, New York esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (NY-ESO), melanoma-associated antigen (MAGE)-A3, and Synovial sarcoma X chromosome (SSX).
