Abstract
A grease composition includes (a) a compound having a phosphate ester moiety, (b) a base oil, and (c) a thickener. The last non-seizure load measured in accordance with ASTM D-2596 is 980 N or more.
Claims3
A grease composition comprising:
- (a) a compound having a phosphate ester moiety,
- (b) a base oil;
- and
- (c) a thickener,
- wherein the last non-seizure load measured in accordance with ASTM D-2596 is 980 N or more, and
- component (a) is at least one coupling agent (a2) having a phosphate ester moiety within the molecule, selected from the group consisting of (a2-1) silane coupling agents, and (a2-4) zirconate coupling agents.
