Abstract
The disclosure provides a method for treatment of dry eye. The method includes administering a patient in need thereof a P55PIK inhibitor. Also provided is a therapeutic drug for dry eye including a P55PTK inhibitor. The dry eye therapeutic drug is easy to use and has a reliable therapeutic effect.

A method for treatment of dry eye disease, the method comprising administering to a patient in need thereof a composition, wherein the composition comprises a p55PIK inhibitor, and the p55PIK inhibitor comprises:
- (1) a peptide segment comprising an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 7;
- and
- (2) a cell-penetrating peptide linked to the peptide segment through a peptide bond.
