Sanitary device and pest prevention device for garbage can lids

A sanitization device for a garbage can comprising:

• a container containing a solution;
• an adjustable nozzle connected to the container, the adjustable nozzle adjustable between:
• a first position having a first spray pattern;
• and
• a second position having a second spray pattern different from the first spray pattern;
• a housing configured to releasably receive the container and the adjustable nozzle;
• and
• a power supply and electronic board configured to enable and disable the adjustable nozzle;
• wherein the adjustable nozzle is configured to dispense the solution into the garbage can.

A sanitization device for a garbage can comprising:

• a housing;
• a container removably held within the housing and containing a solution;
• a sprayer comprising an adjustable nozzle having at least two spray patterns contained within the housing configured to dispense the solution into the garbage can;
• a pump extending from the container;
• and
• a shaft extending from the pump;
• wherein the adjustable nozzle further comprises:
• a first channel;
• and
• a second channel;
• wherein the shaft is configured to be removably inserted into the first channel;
• and
• wherein the shaft is configured to be removably inserted into the second channel.
