Abstract
A drive assembly for a work machine includes an energy machine, a rotational speed compensating device, a first power output, and a magnetic-electric epicyclic gear set connected to the energy machine via a drive shaft, the magnetic-electric epicyclic gear set being arranged to adjust the rotational speed of one or more of the first power output or the rotational speed compensating device.
Claims17
A drive assembly for a work machine, comprising:
- an energy machine;
- a first final driven shaft and a second final driven shaft for driving ground-engaging means;
- a planetary gear set including a sun gear, a ring gear, and a planet carrier having double planets, the planet carrier connected directly to the first final driven shaft, and the sun gear connected directly to the second final driven shaft;
- a first power output including a PTO unit having a PTO gear and a power takeoff shaft;
- and
- a magnetic-electric epicyclic gear set including an internal rotor, an external rotor, and a magnetic modulation ring interposed between the internal and external rotors, the internal rotor connected to the energy machine via a hollow drive shaft surrounding at least a portion of the second final driven shaft, and the magnetic-electric epicyclic gear set being arranged to adjust the rotational speed of one or more of the first power output PTO unit or the planetary gear set.
An axle for a work machine including a drive assembly, comprising:
- an energy machine;
- a first final driven shaft and a second final driven shaft for driving ground-engaging means;
- a planetary gear set including a sun gear, a ring gear, and a planet carrier having double planets, the planet carrier connected directly to the first final driven shaft, and the sun gear connected directly to the second final driven shaft;
- a first power output including a PTO unit having a PTO gear and a power takeoff shaft;
- and
- a magnetic-electric epicyclic gear set including an internal rotor, an external rotor, and a magnetic modulation ring interposed between the internal and external rotors, the internal rotor connected to the energy machine via a hollow drive shaft surrounding at least a portion of the second final driven shaft, and the magnetic-electric epicyclic gear set being arranged to adjust the rotational speed of one or more of the PTO unit or the planetary gear set.
A work machine including an axle having a drive assembly, comprising:
- an energy machine;
- a first final driven shaft and a second final driven shaft for driving ground-engaging means;
- a rotational speed compensating device planetary gear set including a sun gear, a ring gear, and a planet carrier having double planets, the planet carrier connected directly to the first final driven shaft, and the sun gear connected directly to the second final driven shaft;
- a first power output including a PTO unit having a PTO gear and a power takeoff shaft;
- and
- a magnetic-electric epicyclic gear set including an internal rotor, an external rotor, and a magnetic modulation ring interposed between the internal and external rotors, the internal rotor connected to the energy machine via a hollow drive shaft surrounding at least a portion of the second final driven shaft, and the magnetic-electric epicyclic gear set being arranged to adjust the rotational speed of one or more of the PTO unit or the planetary gear set.
