Abstract
The present invention relates to nucleic acid vaccines which encode at least a MAGED4B protein, for use in the treatment of cancer in particular. Synergistic combinations with other anti-cancer agents are described, particularly immune checkpoint inhibitors. The cancer vaccine may further comprise an immunologically active fragment to enhance the immune response, and an additional cancer antigen, such as FJX1. Particular combination therapies of interest include immunotherapies, radiotherapy, targeted therapies and chemotherapies.
Claims25
A cancer vaccine comprising a DNA encoding an immunologically active truncated version of MAGED4B protein,
- wherein said immunologically active truncated version of MAGED4B protein comprises between 400 and 700 amino acids of a sequence which has at least 95% sequence identity to the MAGED4B sequence as set forth in SEQ ID No:
- 3, wherein said immunologically active truncated version of MAGED4B comprises the removal of all or part of a MAGE homology domain corresponding to residues 412-682 of SEQ ID No. 3, and wherein the cancer vaccine further comprises a helper motif that encodes a protein, a polypeptide or an immunological fragment of a protein which stimulates an immunological response.
3, and wherein the cancer vaccine further comprises an immunogenic fragment of tetanus toxin comprising DOM, and a nucleic acid encoding a FJX1 protein which has at least 80% sequence identity to SEQ ID No. 4 or SEQ ID No. 33 or a truncated version thereof.
