Abstract
The present disclosure relates to compositions, systems, and methods for treating cancer. In particular, the present disclosure relates to compositions, systems, and methods for utilizing gene expression and methylation profiles to stratify and treat adrenocortical carcinoma and drugs which have utility for patients stratified by these means.
Claims5
A method for identifying a subject with adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) as having COC1 ACC, comprising:
- a) obtaining or having obtained a sample from the subject;
- and measuring the level of GOS2 methylation and BUB1B-PINK1 expression score in the sample;
- b) identifying the subject as having COC1 ACC when the level of GOS2 methylation is less than approximately 4.696% plus or minus 1%, 5%, or 10% and the BUB1B-PINK1 expression score is greater than approximately 1.646 plus or minus 1%, 5%, or 10%;
- and
- administering linsitinib to said subject identified as having COC1 ACC.
