Abstract

Provide is a water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic having improved ultraviolet-protective effect, excellent smoothness and non-powdery finish, and excellent dispersibility and emulsion stability. The water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic includes a first polysaccharide fatty acid ester containing dextrin isostearate; a second polysaccharide fatty acid ester containing at least one selected from the group consisting of dextrin fatty acid esters, inulin fatty acid esters, and sucrose fatty acid esters, other than dextrin isostearate; metal oxide particles having an average primary particle size of not more than 200 nm; and water. The content ratio of the first polysaccharide fatty acid ester is 0.1% by mass to 4% by mass and the content ratio of the second polysaccharide fatty acid ester is 0.1% by mass to 2% by mass.

Dependent claims

A water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic comprising:

a first polysaccharide fatty acid ester containing dextrin isostearate;
a second polysaccharide fatty acid ester containing at least one selected from the group consisting of dextrin palmitate, dextrin (palmitate/ethylhexanoate), dextrin (palmitate/hexyldecanoate), inulin stearate, and dextrin myristate;
metal oxide particles having an average particle size of 5 nm to 80 nm;
and
water;
wherein
a content ratio of the first polysaccharide fatty acid ester is 0.1% by mass to 4% by mass;
and
a content ratio of the second polysaccharide fatty acid ester is 0.1% by mass to 2% by mass;
a content ratio of the water is 15% by mass to 40% by mass;
the metal oxide particles contain at least zinc oxide and titanium oxide;
and
a content ratio of the metal oxide particles is 6% by mass to 40% by mass.
