Abstract
Improvements for a tinnitus therapy device to reduce tinnitus to a person. The device wraps at least partially around the neck to provide stimulation to the muscles and nerves in the neck to provide stimulation that reduces “ringing in the ears”. The device provides intermittent tapping to one side, both sides, alternating sides or at some pattern. The device is adjustable to position the tapping to the optimal location. The device only applies external forces and is self-controlled or controlled by a therapist. The controls for operation can be integrated in a retention mechanism that can be a fabric covering that can be stretched or pulled over the device and removed for replacement, cleaning or washing of the covering. There can be controls for different forces and tapping rates with wired or wireless controls.
