Systems and methods for hair cosmetic applications and improvements

A method of hair treatment including time-sensitive application of a cosmetic composition to hair of an individual with a formulation delivery device, the method comprising:

• receive, by the formulation delivery device, an initial hair data set;
• compute, by circuitry of the formulation delivery device, an initial shade of the hair of the individual based on the initial hair data set;
• receive, by the formulation delivery device, a desired hair data set;
• compute, by the circuitry of the formulation delivery device, a desired shade of the hair of the individual based on the desired hair data set;
• compute, by circuitry of the formulation delivery device, an initial state of a hair treatment modality configured to achieve the desired shade with the time-sensitive application based on a comparison between the initial shade of the hair and the desired shade of the hair;
• initiate the hair treatment by applying the cosmetic composition to the hair of the individual with the formulation delivery device based on the initial state of the hair treatment modality;
• pause the hair treatment at a pause time of the initial state of the hair treatment modality;
• receive, by the formulation delivery device at the pause time partially through the time-sensitive application of the hair treatment, an in-progress hair data set;
• compute, by the circuitry of the formulation delivery device, an in-progress shade of the hair of the individual based on the in-progress hair data set;
• compute, by the circuitry of the formulation delivery device, an updated state of the hair treatment modality configured to achieve the desired shade with the time-sensitive application based on a comparison between the in-progress shade of the hair and the desired shade of the hair;
• and
• resume the hair treatment by applying the cosmetic composition to the hair of the individual with the formulation delivery device based on the updated state of the hair treatment modality.
