Abstract
The present subject matter relates to a method for operating a node of a communication system. The node is configured to support wireless backhauling in the communication system and support wireless access to user equipments of the communication system. The method comprises: using at least one test configuration for concurrently testing data transmission on a backhaul link and an access link of the node.
Claims19
A method for operating an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node of a communication system, the method comprising:
- using at least one test configuration for concurrently testing data transmission on a backhaul link and an access link of the IAB node, comprising:
- concurrently testing the data transmission on the backhaul link and the access link of the IAB node at least by concurrently transmitting data on the backhaul link using at least one first frequency range and transmitting data on the access link using at least one second frequency range, wherein the first frequency range is a subrange of the second frequency range;
- and
- testing the data transmission at least by performing at least one measurement and determining whether results of the at least one measurement fulfil predefined test requirements.
A non-transitory computer program product comprising instructions, which when executed by at least one processor of an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node, cause the integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node to perform at least the following:
- using at least one test configuration for concurrently testing data transmission on a backhaul link and an access link of the IAB node, comprising:
- concurrently testing the data transmission on the backhaul link and the access link of the IAB node at least by concurrently transmitting data on the backhaul link using at least one first frequency range and transmitting data on the access link using at least one second frequency range, wherein the at least one first frequency range is a subrange of the at least one second frequency range;
- and
- testing the data transmission at least by performing at least one measurement and determining whether results of the at least one measurement fulfil predefined test requirements.
An integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node, comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the IAB node to perform at least the following:
- using at least one test configuration for concurrently testing data transmission on a backhaul link and an access link of the IAB node, comprising:
- concurrently testing the data transmission on the backhaul link and the access link of the IAB node at least by concurrently transmitting data on the backhaul link using at least one first frequency range and transmitting data on the access link using at least one second frequency range, wherein the at least one first frequency range is a subrange of the at least one second frequency range;
- and
- testing the data transmission at least by performing at least one measurement and determining whether results of the at least one measurement fulfil predefined test requirements.
