Creation of videos with desired effects and quality based on random resources

A system, comprising:

• a processor set;
• one or more computer-readable storage media;
• and
• program instructions stored on the one or more computer-readable storage media to cause the process set to perform operations comprising:
• receiving a request to generate a target video for a target object, wherein the request comprises one or more user-defined requirements for the target video;
• identifying, from a video database, a plurality of existing videos that include the target object by performing an object-based search within the video database;
• extracting one or more video-related features from the plurality of existing videos by processing the plurality of existing videos;
• recognizing one or more editing-related patterns from the one or more video-related features based on changes in the extracted one or more video-related features across frames;
• generating a script for the target video based on the one or more video-related features, the one or more editing-related patterns, and the one or more user-defined requirements;
• selecting one or more candidate videos, from the plurality of existing videos, based on the script;
• and
• generating the target video by assembling the one or more candidate videos.

One or more non-transitory computer-readable media containing, in any combination, computer program code that, when executed by a computer system, performs operations comprising:

• receiving a request to generate a target video for a target object, wherein the request comprises one or more user-defined requirements for the target video;
• identifying, from a video database, a plurality of existing videos that include the target object by performing an object-based search within the video database;
• extracting one or more video-related features from the plurality of existing videos by processing the plurality of existing videos;
• recognizing one or more editing-related patterns from the one or more video-related features based on changes in the extracted one or more video-related features across frames;
• generating a script for the target video based on the one or more video-related features, the one or more editing-related patterns, and the one or more user-defined requirements;
• selecting one or more candidate videos, from the plurality of existing videos, based on the script;
• and
• generating the target video by assembling the one or more candidate videos.
