Abstract
The present disclosure provides a data unit processing method and apparatus, and a communication device. The method comprises: a target air-interface protocol layer of a communication device determines an association relationship between service data units (SDUs) according to first indication information; among multiple SDUs with the association relationship, if there is at least one SDU that needs to be discarded or is not successfully transmitted, then the multiple SDUs with the association relationship and/or protocol data units (PDUs) corresponding to the multiple SDUs with the association relationship are discarded.
Claims18
A data unit processing method, comprising:
- determining, by a communication device, an association relationship between service data units (SDUs);
- in case that at least one SDU among the multiple SDUs with the association relationship needs to be discarded or is not successfully transmitted, discarding one or more of the multiple SDUs with the association relationship or protocol data units (PDUs) corresponding to the multiple SDUs with the association relationship;
- the method further comprising:
- determining whether an SDU discard processing function is activated or deactivated according to configuration information;
- wherein the in case that at least one SDU among the multiple SDUs with the association relationship needs to be discarded or is not successfully transmitted, discarding one or more of the multiple SDUs with the association relationship or PDUs corresponding to the multiple SDUs with the association relationship comprises:
- in case that the SDU discard processing function is activated and the at least one SDU among the multiple SDUs with the association relationship needs to be discarded or is not successfully transmitted, discarding one or more of the multiple SDUs with the association relationship or PDUs corresponding to the multiple SDUs with the association relationship.
A communication device, comprising:
- a memory, a transceiver, and a processor;
- wherein the memory is configured to store a computer program;
- the transceiver is configured to transmit and receive data under the control of the processor;
- and the processor is configured to read the computer program in the memory and perform the following operations:
- determining an association relationship between service data units (SDUs);
- in case that at least one SDU among the multiple SDUs with the association relationship needs to be discarded or is not successfully transmitted, discarding one or more of the multiple SDUs with the association relationship or protocol data units (PDUs) corresponding to the multiple SDUs with the association relationship;
- wherein the processor is configured to read the computer program in the memory and perform the following operations:
- determining whether an SDU discard processing function is activated or deactivated according to configuration information;
- in case that the SDU discard processing function is activated and the at least one SDU among the multiple SDUs with the association relationship needs to be discarded or is not successfully transmitted, discarding one or more of the multiple SDUs with the association relationship or PDUs corresponding to the multiple SDUs with the association relationship.
