Abstract
The rotary connector includes: an outer peripheral electrode; an inner peripheral electrode which is inserted through the outer peripheral electrode and is disposed to be rotatable; a plurality of roller current collectors which are arranged to make a planetary motion between the outer peripheral electrode and the inner peripheral electrode; a bearing that axially supports the inner peripheral electrode to be rotatable; and a bearing holder that holds the bearing, wherein bent portions are provided at a passage extending from a contact portion between the inner peripheral electrode and the roller current collector to the bearing.
Claims18
A rotary connector, comprising:
- an outer peripheral electrode;
- an inner peripheral electrode which is inserted through the outer peripheral electrode and is disposed to be rotatable;
- a plurality of roller current collectors which are arranged to make a planetary motion between the outer peripheral electrode and the inner peripheral electrode;
- a bearing that axially supports the inner peripheral electrode to be rotatable;
- and
- a bearing holder that holds the bearing,
- wherein a passage extending from a contact portion between the inner peripheral electrode and the roller current collector to the bearing is defined by a wall surface provided with an annular protrusion, and
- the annular protrusion has a radial protrusion portion which is radially protruded from the wall surface to cover, in an axial direction, part of a space between an outer race and an inner race of the bearing, and an axially protruded portion which is axially protruded from the radial protrusion portion toward an opposite side of the bearing.
A rotary connector, comprising:
- an outer peripheral electrode;
- an inner peripheral electrode which is inserted through the outer peripheral electrode and is disposed to be rotatable;
- a plurality of roller current collectors which are arranged to make a planetary motion between the outer peripheral electrode and the inner peripheral electrode;
- a bearing that axially supports the inner peripheral electrode to be rotatable;
- and
- a bearing holder that holds the bearing,
- wherein
- a) the rotary connector further comprises a protrusion member which is made of a different material from the inner peripheral electrode and which is fixed to the inner peripheral electrode, and the protrusion member has a protrusion portion which is protruded to a passage extending from contact portions between the inner peripheral electrode and the roller current collectors to the bearing, or
- b) the rotary connector further comprises a protrusion member which is made of a different material from the outer peripheral electrode and which is fixed to the outer peripheral electrode, and the protrusion member has a protrusion portion which is protruded to a passage extending from contact portions between the outer peripheral electrode and the roller current collectors to the bearing.
