Abstract
Embodiments of the present application provide an end cap, a battery cell, a battery and a power consuming device, which relate to the technical field of batteries. The end cap may include a cap body and a groove. The cap body may have a first surface. The groove may be provided in the cap body to form a pressure relief zone in a region of the cap body where the groove is provided. The groove may be recessed from the first surface in a thickness direction of the cap body, and groove side faces of the groove may include corner faces at corners of the groove. Each corner face may be connected to the first surface via a first chamfer face.
Claims20
An end cap, comprising:
- a cap body having a first surface;
- and
- a groove provided in the cap body to form a pressure relief zone in a region of the cap body where the groove is provided, the groove being recessed from the first surface in a thickness direction of the cap body, and groove side faces of the groove comprising corner faces at corners of the groove;
- wherein each corner face is connected to the first surface via a first chamfer face;
- and
- in a circumferential direction of the groove, the first chamfer face includes an arc-shaped cross-section having a radius gradually increasing from two ends to the middle.
A battery cell, comprising:
- a housing provided with an opening;
- an end cap, including:
- a cap body having a first surface;
- and
- a groove provided in the cap body to form a pressure relief zone in a region of the cap body where the groove is provided, the groove being recessed from the first surface in a thickness direction of the cap body, and groove side faces of the groove comprising corner faces at corners of the groove;
- wherein
- each corner face is connected to the first surface via a first chamfer face,
- in a circumferential direction of the groove, the first chamfer face includes an arc-shaped cross-section having a radius gradually increasing from two ends to the middle, and
- the cap body closes the opening.
A battery, comprising:
- a case;
- and
- a battery cell, including:
- a housing provided with an opening;
- an end cap, including:
- a cap body having a first surface;
- and
- a groove provided in the cap body to form a pressure relief zone in a region of the cap body where the groove is provided, the groove being recessed from the first surface in a thickness direction of the cap body, and groove side faces of the groove comprising corner faces at corners of the groove;
- wherein
- each corner face is connected to the first surface via a first chamfer face,
- in a circumferential direction of the groove, the first chamfer face includes an arc-shaped cross-section having a radius gradually increasing from two ends to the middle,
- the cap body closes the opening, wherein the battery cell is received in the case,
- the case has a bottom wall, and
- the end cap is arranged on the side of the battery cell facing the bottom wall.
