Abstract
Provided is a battery apparatus. The battery apparatus includes a plurality of battery cells, a housing configured to accommodate the plurality of battery cells, a heat sink having a refrigerant passage therein to cool the battery cells inside the housing, and a moisture absorbent adjacent to the heat sink to absorb moisture.

An apparatus, comprising:
- a first battery apparatus;
- a second battery apparatus adjacent to the first battery apparatus;
- and
- a moisture absorbent,
- wherein each of the first and second battery apparatuses comprises:
- a plurality of battery cells;
- a housing configured to accommodate the plurality of battery cells;
- and
- a heat sink having a refrigerant passage therein to cool the battery cells inside the housing,
- wherein the moisture absorbent is adjacent to the heat sink of at least one of the first and second battery apparatuses to absorb moisture, and
- wherein a protrusion of the heat sink of the first battery apparatus is inserted into an insertion portion of the heat sink of the second battery apparatus so that the heat sinks of the first and second battery apparatuses abut each other.
