Abstract
A coil component includes: a body; a coil unit including lead-out ends and coils, and embedded in the body; and a core penetrating through the coil unit in a first direction, wherein a cross-section of each of the coils perpendicular to a direction in which the coil is wound has a plurality of round portions disposed on a side facing the core.

A coil component comprising:
- a body;
- a coil unit including lead-out ends and a plurality of separate coils, and embedded in the body;
- and
- a core penetrating through the coil unit in a first direction,
- wherein a cross-section of each of the coils perpendicular to a second direction or a third direction has a plurality of corners, where inner corners, disposed on a side facing the core, include first and second round portions, the second and third directions intersecting each other and orthogonal to the first direction, and
- wherein the first and second round portions of the inner corners are more rounded than outer corners, disposed on a side facing away from the core, among the plurality of corners.
