Emergency vehicle detection method and device

An emergency vehicle detection device comprising:

• a memory configured to store computer-executable instructions;
• and
• at least one processor configured to
• access the memory and execute the instructions,
• acquire, by an acquisition device including at least one processor, sounds of external vehicles including an emergency vehicle and a general vehicle, and images of the external vehicles,
• generate, by a generator including at least one processor, a first spectrogram for an emergency vehicle sound and a second spectrogram for a general vehicle sound,
• generate, by the generator, first emergency vehicle location information based on the first spectrogram, generate general vehicle location information based on the second spectrogram,
• generate, by the generator, second emergency vehicle location information based on the images of the external vehicles, and
• detect, by a detector including at least one processor, a location of the emergency vehicle by generating a numerical correlation value among at least two or more of the first emergency vehicle location information, the general vehicle location information, or the second emergency vehicle location information, extracting a result where the numerical correlation value is greater than a threshold value, and determining the location of the emergency vehicle based on the extracted result.
