Abstract
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for supporting online shopping. The apparatus comprises an identification unit configured to identify an online price tag of a specific product embedded into a webpage of an exhibitor, an update unit configured to update a selling price exposed to the online price tag according to a result of a reverse auction between sellers for a selling price of the specific product, and a processing unit configured to, when a purchase intent of a purchaser accessing the webpage of the exhibitor is identified from the online price tag, process a procedure of purchasing the specific product based on the updated selling price.

An apparatus for supporting online shopping, the apparatus comprising:
- a database comprising at least one storage device that is accessible over the network, the database configured to store:
- seller information for a plurality of sellers, the seller information including identification information (ID) of each seller;
- product information for a plurality of products to be sold, the product information including ID of each product which is associated with one or more of the plurality of sellers, each seller assigning a selling price to each product associated with the seller;
- exhibitor information for a plurality of exhibitors, the exhibitor information including ID of each exhibitor;
- and
- online price tag information of a plurality of online price tags, the online price tag information including ID of each online price tag;
- a generation unit configured to, in response to a request for an online price tag of a specific product among the plurality of products from at least one of the plurality of exhibitors, generate an embedding code for embedding the online price tag of the specific product and allow the online price tag of the specific product to be embedded into at least one webpage of the exhibitor based on the embedding code, wherein the online price tag includes ID of the specific product having a selling price of the specific product exposed thereto and ID of the exhibitor;
- an update unit configured to update the selling price exposed to the online price tag according to a result of a reverse auction between the sellers for a selling price of the specific product;
- and
- a processing unit configured to process a procedure of purchasing the specific product based on the updated selling price of the online price tag in response to identifying a purchase intent of a purchaser accessing the webpage of the exhibitor.

A method of operating an online shopping support apparatus, the method comprising:
- storing seller information for a plurality of sellers in a database, the seller information including identification information (ID) of each seller, the database comprising at least one storage device that is accessible over the network;
- storing product information for a plurality of products to be sold in the database, the product information including ID of each product which is associated with one or more of the plurality of sellers, each seller assigning a selling price to each product associated with the seller;
- storing exhibitor information for a plurality of exhibitors in the database, the exhibitor information including ID of each exhibitor;
- storing online price tag information of a plurality of online price tags, the online price tag information including ID of each online price tag;
- in response to a request for an online price tag of a specific product among the plurality of products from at least one of the plurality of exhibitors, generating an embedding code for embedding the online price tag of the specific product and allowing the online price tag of the specific product to be embedded into at least one webpage of the exhibitor based on the embedding code, wherein the online price tag includes ID of the specific product having a selling price of the specific product exposed thereto and ID of the exhibitor;
- updating a selling price exposed to the online price tag according to a result of a reverse auction between the sellers for a selling price of the specific product;
- and
- processing a procedure of purchasing the specific product based on the updated selling price of the online price tag in response to identifying a purchase intent of a purchaser accessing the webpage of the exhibitor.
