Route intelligence for city nodes

A system, comprising:

• a primary node configured to:
• determine that an arrival of a vehicle en route to an event will be delayed;
• in response to the arrival being delayed, control a secondary node near the event to send real-time data about the event to the primary node;
• provide the real-time data from the primary node to a device in the vehicle;
• and in response to the device being within a certain proximity of the event, transfer provision of the real-time data to the secondary node;
• arriving, by the vehicle, at the event;
• and stopping the provision of the real-time data to the device by the secondary node.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform:

• determining by a primary node that an arrival of a vehicle en route to an event will be delayed;
• in response to the arrival being delayed, controlling, by the primary node, a secondary node near the event to send real-time data about the event to the primary node;
• providing the real-time data from the primary node to a device in the vehicle;
• and in response to the device being within a certain proximity of the event, transferring provision of the real-time data to the secondary node;
• arriving, by the vehicle, at the event;
• and stopping the provision of the real-time data to the device by the secondary node.
