Light source device and display

A light source device comprising:

• a first substrate including a front surface and a rear surface on an opposite side of the front surface in a thickness direction, the first substrate having a through-hole;
• a plurality of light sources provided on the front surface;
• a connector including a main body inserted in the through-hole of the first substrate and a plurality of first terminals provided on the main body;
• a plurality of wiring lines that each couple corresponding one of the plurality of light sources and corresponding one of the plurality of first terminals to each other, the plurality of wiring lines being provided on the front surface;
• a second substrate including an opposing surface that is opposed to the rear surface of the first substrate;
• and
• an engagement member that is provided on the opposing surface of the second substrate and is engageable with the connector, wherein
• the connector includes a first engagement part provided at a position facing the engagement member,
• the engagement member includes a second engagement part that is engageable with the first engagement part,
• each of the first engagement part and the second engagement part has a rectangular plane shape including a first side and a second side substantially orthogonal to each other on a plane orthogonal to the thickness direction, and
• a ratio of a length of the second side to a length of the first side is greater than or equal to 0.5 and less than or equal to 1.5.

A light source device comprising:

• a first substrate including a front surface and a rear surface on an opposite side of the front surface in a thickness direction, the first substrate having a through-hole;
• a plurality of light sources provided on the front surface;
• a connector including a main body inserted in the through-hole of the first substrate and a plurality of first terminals provided on the main body;
• a plurality of wiring lines that each couple corresponding one of the plurality of light sources and corresponding one of the plurality of first terminals to each other, the plurality of wiring lines being provided on the front surface;
• a reflection member provided in a region, within the front surface, other than a region where the plurality of light sources is provided;
• a stud that is provided to stand on an opposite side of the first substrate to the rear surface, wherein
• the stud includes a side surface and a locking part provided on the side surface, and
• the reflection member is provided between the locking part and the front surface of the first substrate,
• wherein the locking part includes an external surface inclined at an angle greater than or equal to 5 degrees with respect to the side surface.

A display comprising:

• a light source device that emits illumination light;
• and
• a display unit that displays an image on a basis of the illumination light from the light source device, wherein
• the light source device includes
• a first substrate including a front surface and a rear surface on an opposite side of the front surface in a thickness direction, the first substrate having a through-hole,
• a plurality of light sources provided on the front surface,
• a connector including a main body inserted in the through-hole of the first substrate and a plurality of first terminals provided on the main body, and
• a plurality of wiring lines that each couple corresponding one of the plurality of light sources and corresponding one of the plurality of first terminals to each other, the plurality of wiring lines being provided on the front surface,
• wherein a gap is provided between an inner wall surface of the through-hole and the main body of the connector.
