Radar-based movement sensors arranged in a domestic setting

A system comprising:

• a processing device;
• and
• a memory device configured to store instructions that, when executed, enable the processing device to:
• obtain movement data from at least one of a plurality of radar-based sensing devices arranged within a predefined setting;
• analyze the movement data;
• identify, based on the analysis of the movement data, a human activity;
• further analyzing the movement data based on the identified human activity, the further analysis comprising identifying non-human motion data and filtering out the non-human motion data from the movement data;
• determine, based on the further analysis of the movement data, one or more characteristics of the human activity, the one or more characteristics corresponding to a type of behavior that is indicative of a risk associated with the human activity;
• analyze the one or more characteristics of the human activity;
• and
• determine an identity of a person performing the human activity by:
• (i) distinguishing among two or more individuals concurrently present in the predefined setting by clustering the movement data based at least on location information to identify a plurality of people in the predefined setting and (ii) comparing the one or more characteristics of the human activity with pre-stored per-person behavioral templates over a historical time window to differentiate the person from one or more other people.
