Abstract
An air cleaner includes a first body having an inlet, and an outlet; a fan rotatably disposed between the inlet and the outlet to induce air flow from the inlet to the outlet; a filter removing foreign substance in air introduced through the inlet; and a second body disposed above the first body and guiding air discharged from the outlet in a radially outward direction. A lower surface of the second body is disposed above the outlet and extends in the radially outward direction as it goes upward, and wherein an upper surface of the second body that is disposed at a side of the lower surface of the second body and that at least portion thereof forms a flat surface.
Claims18
An air cleaner comprising:
- a first body that includes an inlet at a peripheral surface of the first body, and an outlet upper end disposed above the inlet;
- a fan disposed between the inlet and the upper end of the first body, and configured to induce air flow from the inlet to the upper end, where the air flows upwards in an annular shape;
- a filter configured to remove foreign substance in air introduced through the inlet;
- and
- a second body disposed above the first body and configured to guide air discharged through the upper end in at least one of vertical direction or outward direction,
- wherein the second body includes a lower central portion configured for coupling to the first body and a lower outer portion surrounding the lower central portion and disposed above the upper end, and the lower outer portion of the second body includes a lower surface that extends in the outward direction as the lower surface rises vertically,
- wherein the lower surface forms a convex shape,
- wherein the upper end of the first body includes a central portion and an outer portion surrounding the central portion,
- wherein the central region of the upper end is configured to couple with the lower central portion of the second body,
- wherein the outer portion of the upper end includes a grille with grille openings to allow air flowing in the annular shape to escape vertically,
- wherein an inner edge of the outer portion adjacent to the central portion of the upper end is vertically positioned higher than a periphery of the outer portion, and
- wherein a vertical distance between the grille and the lower surface of the second body increases as the lower surface extends away from the lower central region.
An air cleaner comprising:
- a first body that includes an inlet at a peripheral surface of the first body and an upper end disposed above the inlet;
- a fan disposed between the inlet and the upper end, and configured to induce air flow from the inlet to the upper end;
- a filter configured to remove foreign substance in air introduced through the inlet;
- and a second body disposed above the first body and configured to guide air discharged through the upper end in at least one of vertical direction or outward direction;
- and
- a second body coupled to the first body and configured to guide air discharged through
- the upper end of the lower body,
- wherein a lower surface of the second body is disposed above the upper end of the first body,
- wherein the second body includes an upper surface having an oval shape, where a diameter in a first horizontal direction is different from a diameter in a second horizontal direction, and the upper surface being configured to serve as a surface for supporting at least one item place thereon,
- wherein the upper surface is elongated in a direction in which a charging pad of a charging device is disposed,
- wherein the air flows to the upper end of the first body in an annular shape, and the upper end includes a central portion configured to couple to the second body, and a grille of annular shape surrounding the central portion to exhaust the air, and
- wherein the second body includes a lower surface and an inner edge of grille adjacent to the center portion is position higher than a periphery of the grille such that a vertical distance between the grille and the lower surface is increased as the lower surface extends outwards in a horizontal direction.
