Abstract
A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a refrigerant circuit configured to circulate a refrigerant to condition an air flow within an air flow conduit and a reheat system fluidly separate from the refrigerant circuit, wherein the reheat system is configured to utilize a waste fluid from a waste heat source to reheat the air flow conditioned by the refrigerant circuit.
Claims7
A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system, comprising:
- a first refrigerant circuit configured to circulate a first refrigerant, wherein the first refrigerant circuit comprises an evaporator configured to place the first refrigerant in a first heat exchange relationship with an air flow to condition the air flow;
- a second refrigerant circuit configured to circulate a second refrigerant, wherein the second refrigerant circuit comprises a reheat heat exchanger, and the reheat heat exchanger is configured to place the second refrigerant in a second heat exchange relationship with the air flow;
- and
- an intermediate conduit fluidly coupling the first refrigerant circuit and the second refrigerant circuit with one another, wherein the intermediate conduit is configured to enable transfer of the first refrigerant, the second refrigerant, or both, between the first refrigerant circuit and the second refrigerant circuit.
