Abstract
Objects of the present invention are to provide a woven/knitted fabric that does not inhibit movement of the body and that has excellent wearing feel, and is particularly suitable for use in garments, as well as garments using the woven/knitted fabric. Provided is a woven/knitted fabric at least partially including a false-twist yarn composed of an eccentric sheath-core type polyamide composite fiber having an equilibrium moisture content of 6.3% or less, the woven/knitted fabric having a stress ratio at 15% elongation in the warp direction to the weft direction of from 0.25 to 2.0.

A woven or knitted fabric at least partially comprising a false-twist yarn composed of an eccentric sheath-core polyamide composite fiber where the sheath contains nylon 610 and the core contains nylon 6 or nylon 66, the fiber having an equilibrium moisture content as determined according to JIS L 1013 8.2 (2010) of 6.3% or less by mass under conditions of a temperature of 30° C. and a relative humidity of 90 RH % after a 72 hour period, the fabric also having a stress ratio of from 0.25 to 2.0 in the warp direction to the weft direction as determined according to JIS L 1096 8.16.1 A (2010) when subjected to conditions of a temperature of 20° C. and a relative humidity of 65% RH at 15% elongation, and wherein the nylon 6 or nylon 66 of the core dissolved in sulfuric acid and the nylon 610 of the sheath dissolved in sulfuric acid have a relative viscosity ratio of from 1.20 to 1.40.
