Abstract
Provided is a near-infrared curable ink composition including: a thermosetting resin or a thermoplastic resin; and near-infrared absorbing particles. The near-infrared absorbing particles contain a cesium tungsten oxide having an orthorhombic or hexagonal crystal structure and represented by a general formula: CsxW1-yO3-z (where 0.2≤x≤0.4, 0<y≤0.4, 0<z≤0.46).
Claims13
A near-infrared curable ink composition, comprising:
- a thermosetting resin or a thermoplastic resin;
- and
- near-infrared absorbing particles,
- wherein the near-infrared absorbing particles contain a cesium tungsten oxide having an orthorhombic or hexagonal crystal structure and represented by a general formula:
- CsxW1-yO3-z (where 0.2≤x≤0.4, 0<y≤0.4, 0<z≤0.46),
- the cesium tungsten oxide contains a line-shaped or plane-shaped defect on one or more planes selected from orthorhombic (010) planes, hexagonal {100} prismatic planes, and hexagonal (001) basal planes, and
- the near-infrared absorbing particles are particles obtained by heating and reducing a powder of a crystal of a cesium tungsten oxide precursor nCs2O·mWO3 (where n and m are integers, 3.6≤m/n≤9.0) in a reductive gas atmosphere at 650° C. or higher and 950° C. or lower.
