Compound, corrosion inhibitor, and lubricant composition

A lubricant composition, comprising:

• an ionic liquid (A) comprising a cation of formula (A1):
• n being 1 or 2, X being a methylene group or oxygen, and RA11 and RA12 each independently being an alkyl group comprising 1 to 12 carbon atoms, optionally comprising an ether group, an ester group, a nitrile group, and/or a silyl group;
• and
• a corrosion inhibitor of formula (B1):
• M being an alkali metal, and RB11 being an alkylene group comprising 1 to 19 carbon atoms.

A lubricant composition, comprising:

• a corrosion inhibitor of formula (B1):
• M being an alkali metal, and RB11 being an alkylene group comprising 1 to 19 carbon atoms;
• and
• an ionic liquid (A) comprising a compound of formula (A2):
• n being 1 or 2, X being a methylene group or oxygen, RA21 being an alkyl group comprising 2 to 12 carbon atoms;
• and/or a compound of formula (A3):
• n being 1 or 2, X being a methylene group or oxygen, RA31 being an alkylene group comprising 1 to 5 carbon atoms, RA32 being a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group comprising 1 to 3 carbon atoms.
