Abstract
A vehicle control device includes a plurality of power unit mounted on a vehicle, and a processing part configured to control the power units. Each of the plurality of power units includes a rotating electric machine configured to exchange torque with driving wheels, a power storage device and a fuel cell that are power sources, and an electric power controller. The processing part controls an operation of a rotating electric machine in an abnormal power unit according to a state of charge of the power storage device, a rotation number of the rotating electric machine, and torque requirement of the vehicle in the abnormal power unit, when an abnormality of any fuel cell system occurs.
