Liquid ejecting head and liquid ejecting apparatus

A liquid ejecting apparatus comprising:

• a liquid ejecting head including an ejection opening row including a plurality of ejection openings configured to eject liquid, a liquid supply path to supply liquid to the plurality of ejection openings, a liquid collection path to collect liquid not ejected through the plurality of ejection openings, energy generation elements configured to generate energy to eject liquid through the ejection openings, a common supply flow path to supply liquid to a plurality of liquid supply paths, a common collection flow path to collect liquid from a plurality of liquid collection paths, and a heating unit configured to heat an ejection region including the ejection openings;
• and
• a circulation system configured to supply liquid from a tank for storing liquid to the liquid ejecting head and transfer liquid collected from the liquid ejecting head to the tank, wherein
• on sides of the ejection region with respect to a predetermined direction intersecting an arrangement direction of the ejection openings, a first non-ejection region and a second non-ejection region are provided, with the first non-ejection region being located on a first side and the second non-ejection region being located on a second side,
• the ejection region is located so as to be shifted toward the second non-ejection region,
• as viewed from a direction orthogonal to a surface having the ejection opening row, there are a first overlap region in which the first non-ejection region and the common collection flow path at least partially overlap each other and a second overlap region in which the second non-ejection region and the common supply flow path at least partially overlap each other, and
• an area of the first overlap region is larger than an area of the second overlap region.
