Hot stamping member

A hot stamping member comprising:

• a base material;
• and
• a plating region provided on the base material,
• wherein the plating region has, in this order from a surface of the plating region:
• a region A, which is defined as a region where a Ni content is 50 mass % or more,
• a region B, which is defined as a region where a Ni content is less than 50 mass %, an Al content is 10 mass % or more, and an Fe content is 50 mass % or less, and
• a region C, which is defined as a region where an Al content is 10 mass % or more and an Fe content is more than 50 mass %, and wherein
• in a region from the surface of the plating region to a position 100 nm from the surface of the plating region in a thickness direction,
• a maximum value of a Ni content is 50 mass % or more,
• an Fe content is 10 mass % or less,
• a Cr content is 6 mass % or less, and
• a ratio Ni/Cr of the Ni content to the Cr content is 15 or more,
• in a region from the position 100 nm from the surface of the plating region in the thickness direction to a position 500 nm from the surface of the plating region in the thickness direction,
• a maximum value of a Ni content is 5 mass % or more, and
• an Fe content is 25 mass % or less, and
• in a region from the position 500 nm from the surface of the plating region in the thickness direction to a position 1000 nm from the surface of the plating region in the thickness direction,
• a maximum value of a Ni content is 1 mass % or more, and
• an Fe content is 30 mass % or less.
