Abstract
The present invention provides a catalyst structure having a core-shell structure comprising a core comprising a metal and a shell formed on the core, wherein the shell comprises a metal hydroxide crystal or a metal oxide crystal formed uniformly in shape and size perpendicular to the surface of the metal, wherein the metal hydroxide crystal or the metal oxide crystal have a 2D structure or a 1D structure, and preparation method thereof.
Claims4
A catalyst structure having a core-shell structure with a controlled surface morphology, comprising:
- a core comprising a metal;
- and
- a shell formed on the core,
- wherein the shell comprises metal hydroxide particles or metal oxide particles formed uniformly in shape and size perpendicular to the surface of the metal of the core, wherein the metal of the core is any one selected from the group consisting of Al, Cu, Cr, Co, Zn and Ni,
- wherein the metal hydroxide particles or the metal oxide particles have a 2D structure or a 1D structure,
- wherein the 2D structure has an average value of the width/thickness ratio of the particles of 10.0 or more, and an average value of the length/width ratio of 3.0 or less, and
- wherein the 1D structure has an average value of the width/thickness ratio of the particles of 10.0 or less, and an average value of the length/width ratio of 3.0 or more.
