A method of inhibiting binding of VLA-4 to VCAM-1 and/or fibronectin in a subject, comprising administering to the subject a recombinant anti-α4 antibody molecule, or α4-binding fragment thereof, comprising:
- (a) a variable light chain comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 11;
- and (b) a variable heavy chain comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
