Claims17
A method of treating a viral infection comprising the administration, to a patient in need thereof, of a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula II
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein:
- a) R14, and R16, are independently selected from the group consisting of COCH3, COCH2CH3, and COCH2CH2CH3;
- R15, R17, R4 and R5 are hydrogen;
- and
- wherein said viral infection is caused by SARS-COV-2;
- or
- b) R14, and R16, are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, COCH3, COCH2CH3, and COCH2CH2CH3;
- R15, and R17 are hydrogen;
- and
- one of R4 and R5 is hydrogen and the other of R4 and R5 is I;
- wherein said viral infection is caused by a virus selected from the group consisting of HIV-1 virus, Lassa virus, corona virus, Zika virus, Dengue virus, and Ebola virus.
