Abstract
The present invention relates to mini tablets for pediatric applications containing losartan or one of its pharmaceutically acceptable salts.

A mini tablet for pediatric applications which contains an active ingredient selected from among losartan and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts,
- wherein said mini tablet is characterized by a ratio of surface area to volume that ranges from 2:1 to 6:1 mm−1,
- wherein said mini tablet contains 1 mg to 3 mg of said active ingredient,
- wherein said mini tablet is characterized by a total weight of 3 mg to 15 mg, and
- wherein said mini tablet is characterized by a diameter and a height, each of
- which ranges from 1 mm to 3 mm.
