Method for dyeing keratinous material, comprising the use of an organosilicon compound, a colored effect pigment and a film-forming polymer IV

A kit-of-parts for dyeing keratinous material, comprising separately packaged:

• a first container comprising an agent (a), wherein the agent (a) comprises at least one organic silicon compound of the formula I and at least one organic silicon compound of the formula IV,
• wherein
• R1, R2 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a C1-C6 alkyl group,
• L is a linear or branched, bivalent C1-C20 alkylene group,
• R3 is a hydrogen atom or a C1-C6 alkyl group,
• R4 stands for a C1-C6 alkyl group,
• a, stands for an integer from 1 to 3, and
• b is the integer 3-a,
• wherein
• R9 stands for a C1-C18 alkyl group,
• R10 represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-C6 alkyl group,
• R11 represents a C1-C6 alkyl group
• k is an integer from 1 to 3, and
• m stands for the integer 3-k, and
• a second container containing an agent (b), wherein the agent contains (b):
• (b1) at least one coloring compound comprising at least one effect pigment comprising i) a substrate platelet, ii) a metal oxide layer, comprising a metal oxide and/or a metal oxide hydrate, provided on the surface of the substrate platelet, iii) a metal particle carrier layer provided on the surface of the metal oxide layer, and iv) metal particles provided on the surface of the metal particle carrier layer, and
• (b2) at least one film-forming polymer.

A method for dyeing human hair, the method comprising the steps of:

• applying an agent (a) to the keratinous material, wherein the agent (a) has a pH of from 8 to 10.5 and comprises:
• (a1) at least one organic silicon compound selected from (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane or (3-aminopropyl)trimethoxysilane;
• and additionally at least one organic silicon compound selected from methyltrimethoxysilane, methyltriethoxysilane, ethyltrimethoxysilane, ethyltriethoxysilane, propyltrimethoxysilane, propyltriethoxysilane, hexyltrimethoxysilane, hexyltriethoxysilane, octyltrimethoxysilane, octyltriethoxysilane, dodecyltrimethoxysilane, dodecyltriethoxysilane, octadecyltrimethoxysilane, or octadecyltriethoxysilane;
• wherein (a1) is present in an amount of from 5.0 to 10% by weight, based on the total weight of the agent (a);
• rinsing the agent (a) from the keratinous material with water;
• applying an agent (b) to the keratinous material, wherein the agent (b) has a pH of from 8 to 10.5 and comprises:
• (b1) at least one coloring compound comprising at least one effect pigment comprising i) a substrate platelet comprising aluminum, ii) a metal oxide layer, comprising silicon dioxide, provided on the surface of the substrate platelet, iii) a metal particle carrier layer, comprising tin oxide, provided on the surface of the metal oxide layer, and iv) silver particles provided on the surface of the metal particle carrier layer;
• wherein (b1) is present in an amount of 0.5 to 4.5% by weight, based on the total weight of the agent (b);
• and
• (b2) at least one hydrophilic film-forming polymer and at least one hydrophobic film-forming polymer;
• wherein (b2) is present in an amount of from 8 to 12% by weight, based on the total weight of the agent (b);
• and
• rinsing the agent (b) from the keratinous material.
