Abstract
An electrode of an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a substrate on which an electrical circuit is mounted; a first electrode unit disposed on the substrate and electrically coupled to the electrical circuit; and a second electrode unit having conductivity and elasticity and in which at least a part of the first electrode unit is embedded, the second electrode unit being to be brought into contact with a living body.
Claims15
A biopotential measurement electrode, comprising:
- a substrate having a first axial or longitudinal surface and a second axial or longitudinal surface opposite the first axial or longitudinal surface;
- an electrical circuit disposed directly on the first axial or longitudinal surface of the substrate;
- a first electrode unit formed of a material having conductivity, wherein the first electrode unit is disposed on an entirety of the second axial or longitudinal surface of the substrate and is electrically coupled to the electrical circuit;
- and
- a second electrode unit having a first axial or longitudinal axial surface and a second axial or longitudinal surface opposite the first axial or longitudinal surface of the second electrode unit, wherein:
- the second electrode unit is formed of a material having conductivity and elasticity;
- at least a part of the first electrode unit is embedded in the material of the second electrode unit and is further disposed between the second axial or longitudinal surface of the substrate and the first axial or longitudinal surface of the second electrode unit;
- and
- at least a portion of the second electrode unit including the second axial or longitudinal surface thereof is configured for being brought into contact with a living body;
- and
- wherein the substrate has a third surface corresponding to a side surface of the substrate extending between the first axial or longitudinal surface of the substrate and the second axial or longitudinal surface of the substrate around a periphery of the substrate, and wherein the first electrode unit is further disposed on the third surface of the substrate.
A biological information measurement device comprising biopotential measurement electrode, the biopotential measurement electrode including:
- a substrate having a first axial or longitudinal surface and a second axial or longitudinal surface opposite the first axial or longitudinal surface;
- an electrical circuit disposed directly on the first axial or longitudinal surface of the substrate;
- a first electrode unit formed of a material having conductivity, wherein the first electrode unit it disposed on an entirety of the second axial or longitudinal surface of the substrate and is electrically coupled to the electrical circuit;
- and
- a second electrode unit having a first axial or longitudinal axial surface and a second axial or longitudinal surface opposite the first axial or longitudinal surface of the second electrode unit, wherein:
- the second electrode unit is formed of a material having conductivity and elasticity;
- at least a part of the first electrode unit is embedded in the material of the second electrode unit and is further disposed between the second axial or longitudinal surface of the substrate and the first axial or longitudinal surface of the second electrode unit;
- and
- at least a portion of the second electrode unit including the second axial or longitudinal surface thereof is configured for being brought into contact with a living body in use of the biopotential measurement electrode;
- and
- wherein the substrate has a third surface corresponding to a side surface of the substrate extending between the first axial or longitudinal surface of the substrate and the second axial or longitudinal surface of the substrate around a periphery of the substrate, and wherein the first electrode unit is further disposed on the third surface of the substrate.
