Releasable mounting mechanism for slatwall

A system comprising:

• a slatwall defining a plurality of spaced apart grooves, with each of the plurality of grooves defining a channel;
• and
• a mounting mechanism reversibly mounted to said slatwall and configured to support an accessory on said slatwall, said mounting mechanism comprising:
• a mounting bracket having a body portion extending between a first end and a second end with said first end configured for receipt and retention within the channel of a first one of the plurality of grooves and with said second end spaced from said first end and with said body portion defining an opening,
• a latch at least partially disposed within said opening and pivotally coupled to said mounting bracket and moveable between a retaining position and a release position,
• a bezel retained within said opening of said mounting bracket, with said latch pivotally coupled to said mounting bracket through said bezel, and
• a biasing member coupled to said latch for biasing said latch to said retaining position,
• wherein said latch is configured to engage the channel of a second one of the plurality of grooves when said mounting bracket is disposed within the channel of the first one of the plurality of grooves and when said latch is in said retaining position.
