A seed of Solanum lycopersicum hybrid variety 72-BF0101 RZ, a representative sample of seed of variety 72-BF0101 RZ having been deposited under NCIMB Accession No. 44251.
A method of vegetatively propagating a plant of hybrid tomato variety 72-BF0101 RZ comprising the steps of:
- (a) collecting tissue from a plant of hybrid tomato variety 72-BF0101 RZ, a representative sample of seed of variety 72-BF0101 RZ having been deposited under NCIMB Accession No. 44251;
- and (b) producing a rooted plant from said tissue.
A method for producing a seed of a 72-BF0101 RZ-derived tomato plant comprising (a) crossing a plant of tomato variety 72-BF0101 RZ, a representative sample of seed of variety 72-BF0101 RZ having been deposited under NCIMB Accession No. 44251, with itself or with a second tomato plant, and (b) allowing a seed of a 72-BF0101 RZ-derived tomato plant to form.
A method of producing a plant of hybrid tomato variety 72-BF0101 RZ comprising at least one new trait, the method comprising introducing a mutation or transgene conferring the at least one new trait into a plant of hybrid tomato variety 72-BF0101 RZ, a representative sample of seed of variety 72-BF0101 RZ having been deposited under NCIMB Accession No. 44251.
