Display device

A display device comprising:

• a first subpixel including a first light-emitting element and a second light-emitting element connected in series;
• and
• a second subpixel including a third light-emitting element and a fourth light-emitting element connected in series,
• wherein the first light-emitting element includes a first electrode and a first light-emitting layer,
• the second light-emitting element includes a second light-emitting layer,
• the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element share a second electrode formed in an upper layer above the first light-emitting layer and the second light-emitting layer,
• the third light-emitting element includes a third electrode and a third light-emitting layer,
• the fourth light-emitting element includes a fourth light-emitting layer,
• the third light-emitting element and the fourth light-emitting element share a fourth electrode formed in an upper layer above the third light-emitting layer and the fourth light-emitting layer,
• the second electrode is an island-shaped electrode and functions as a cathode of one of the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element and an anode of the other, and
• the fourth electrode is an island-shaped electrode and functions as a cathode of one of the third light-emitting element and the fourth light-emitting element and an anode of the other.
