Cooling module assembly for pole-mounted network node

A cooling module assembly (100, 101) for a network node in a telecommunication network, comprising:

• a support structure (110) having a longitudinal axis (L);
• attachment means for (112) attaching a first end (114) of the support structure to a pole;
• a tubular section (120) extending along the longitudinal axis from a second end (116) of the support structure, away from the first end, and to an air outlet (130);
• an air inlet (132) arranged at the first end, and
• at least two cooling modules (140) each mounted to the support structure,
• wherein each of the at least two cooling modules includes:
• an enclosure (150) including a first outer side (152) facing away from the longitudinal axis and a second outer side (154) facing towards the longitudinal axis, wherein the first outer side includes at least one radome section (153) and the second outer side forms part of an enclosed inner air channel (136) of the assembly, the inner air channel extending along the longitudinal axis between the air inlet to the air outlet via the tubular section;
• means (184) for mounting one or more radio modules within the enclosure, and
• one or more heatsinks (160) arranged on the second outer side and within the inner air channel, and in thermal contact with an inside (156) of the enclosure.
