Enhancements on transmission power adaptation

A second device, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed with the at least one processor, cause the second device at least to:
• transmit a channel state information configuration to a first device, the channel state information configuration comprises a channel state information measurement configuration comprising a first power offset corresponding to a maximum transmission power reduction supported with the second device and a second power offset between a transmission power of a data transmission from the second device and a transmission power of a reference signal;
• transmit the reference signal to the first device;
• and
• receive, from the first device, a channel state information report based on the channel state information configuration, the channel state information report comprising assistance information on transmission power adjustment for the second device.

A method, comprising:

• transmitting, at a second device, a channel state information configuration to a first device, the channel state information configuration comprises a channel state information measurement configuration comprising a first power offset corresponding to a maximum transmission power reduction supported with the second device and a second power offset between a transmission power of a data transmission from the second device and a transmission power of a reference signal;
• transmitting the reference signal to the first device;
• and
• receiving, from the first device, a channel state information report based on the channel state information configuration, the channel state information report comprising assistance information on transmission power adjustment for the second device.
