Abstract
One example may include receiving a call, identifying whether a calling party number and a called party number associated with the call have a pre-existing relationship stored in a database, responsive to identifying the pre-existing relationship, modifying a call message header of a call message to include a code object identifying enhanced call content, and forwarding the modified call message to an intended recipient device of the call.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- identifying whether a match exists between a calling party number and a called party number from a call based on data stored in a database;
- receiving a confirmation from a recipient device associated with the called party number that a code object providing enhanced call content was accessed by and displayed on the recipient device;
- and
- responsive to the confirmation, connecting the call to the recipient device.
An apparatus comprising:
- a processor configured to:
- identify whether a match exists between a calling party number and a called party number from a call based on data stored in a database;
- receive a confirmation from a recipient device associated with the called party number that a code object providing enhanced call content was accessed by and displayed on the recipient device;
- and
- responsive to the confirmation, connect the call to the intended recipient device.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform
- identifying whether a match exists between a calling party number and a called party number from a call based on data stored in a database;
- receiving a confirmation from a recipient device associated with the called party number that a code object providing enhanced call content was accessed by and displayed on the recipient device;
- and
- responsive to the confirmation, connecting the call to the recipient device.
