Abstract
Systems and methods for managing network communication are disclosed. Methods and systems can comprise receiving a telephony message having a source address and determining routing information using the source address. A telephony call may be routed using the determined routing information. Such processing may be implemented to route telephony calls to certain services such as accessibility services based on at least the source address of a telephony message.
Claims24
A method comprising:
- receiving, by a computing device, a telephony call having a source address associated with a first user, wherein the telephony call comprises a request for a service and a first destination address associated with the requested service;
- determining, based on the source address and a database that maps a plurality of source addresses to a plurality of alternate destination addresses, a second destination address to which the source address is mapped in the database, wherein the second destination address is associated with an accessibility service;
- and
- routing, based on the second destination address to which the source address is mapped in the database, the telephony call to the accessibility service instead of to the requested service.
A computing device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computing device to:
- receive a telephony call having a source address associated with a first user, wherein the telephony call comprises a request for a service and a first destination address associated with the requested service;
- determine, based on the source address and a database that maps a plurality of source addresses to a plurality of alternate destination addresses, a second destination address to which the source address is mapped in the database, wherein the second destination address is associated with an accessibility service;
- and
- route, based on the second destination address to which the source address is mapped in the database, the telephony call to the accessibility service instead of to the requested service.
A system comprising:
- a first computing device;
- and
- a second computing device configured to:
- receive, from the first computing device, a telephony call having a source address associated with a first user, wherein the telephony call comprises a request for service and a first destination address associated with the requested service;
- determine, based on the source address and a database that maps a plurality of source addresses to a plurality of alternate destination addresses, a second destination address to which the source address is mapped in the database, wherein the second destination address is associated with an accessibility service;
- and
- route, based on the second destination address to which the source address is mapped in the database, the telephony call to the accessibility service instead of to the requested service.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed, cause:
- receiving, by a computing device, a telephony call having a source address associated with a first user, wherein the telephony call comprises a request for service and a first destination address associated with the requested service;
- determining, based on the source address and a database that maps a plurality of source addresses to a plurality of alternate destination addresses, a second destination address to which the source address is mapped in the database, wherein the second destination address is associated with an accessibility service;
- and
- routing, based on the second destination address to which the source address is mapped in the database, the telephony call to the accessibility service instead of to the requested service.
