Driving device including a clutch with a moveable member coupleable and decoupleable from a rotor according to operation of clothing treatment device and clothing treatment device including the driving device

A driving device, comprising:

• a stator;
• a rotor provided to be rotatable about a rotational axis of a clothing treatment device through interaction with the stator;
• an insulator configured to surround at least a portion of the stator;
• a clutch including:
• a movable member, including a locking recess, configured to slide along the rotational axis to be selectively coupled to, and uncoupled from, the rotor according to an operation mode of the clothing treatment device;
• and
• a non-movable member configured to slide the movable member and including a fixing case fixed to the insulator, and at least one of a clutch coil and a clutch magnet disposed inside of the fixing case,
• a fixing member protruding and extending from an upper surface of the insulator toward the clutch;
• and
• a fixing area disposed in the fixing case of the non-movable member and formed to be open to have the fixing member pass therethrough,
• wherein the insulator includes:
• a coupling area to receive the clutch, and
• a connection member provided in the coupling area and configured to protrude from an inner circumference of the insulator toward the rotational axis so as to be inserted into the locking recess of the movable member based on the movable member being slid to be uncoupled from the rotor, and
• wherein the fixing member is formed integrally with the insulator and fixes the insulator and the fixing case of the non-movable member.

A driving device, comprising:

• a stator;
• a rotor including a rotor frame and provided to be rotatable about a rotational axis of a clothing treatment device through interaction with the stator;
• an insulator configured to surround at least a portion of the stator;
• and
• a clutch including:
• a movable member, including a locking recess, configured to slide along the rotational axis to be selectively coupled to, and uncoupled from, the rotor according to an operation mode of the clothing treatment device,
• wherein the rotor frame includes:
• a plurality of holes, and
• a plurality of coupling protrusions protruding toward the clutch so as to be coupled with the movable member along a radial direction of the rotor frame based on the movable member being slid to be coupled to the rotor, and
• wherein the plurality of coupling protrusions are integrally formed with the rotor frame and punched out of the rotor frame to form the plurality of holes, and
• the plurality of coupling protrusions are inserted into the locking recess,
• wherein the insulator includes:
• a coupling area open inwardly from an upper surface to receive the clutch, and
• a connection member provided in the coupling area and configured to protrude an inner circumference of the insulator toward the rotational axis so as to be inserted into the locking recess of the movable member based on the movable member being slid to be uncoupled from the rotor.
