• a separator interposed between the cathode and the anode, the separator including a porous substrate and an adhesive layer,
• wherein:
• the adhesive layer of the separator includes ceramic particles and a binder at a mixing weight ratio of 4:6 to 6:4,
• the binder includes a first binder that includes a first polyvinylidene fluoride-based compound and a second binder that includes a second polyvinylidene fluoride-based compound,
• an adhesion ratio of the lithium battery, represented by Equation 1 below, is 0.05 to 1.0,

• have a glass transition temperature (Tg) value of 50° C. or higher, and
• include polyvinylidene fluoride, vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene copolymer, vinylidene fluoride-trichlorethylene copolymer, vinylidene fluoride-chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer, vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene-acrylic acid copolymer, or a combination thereof.
