Abstract
Universal blockchain and other management platforms and methods of use are provided herein. A blockchain subscription pay manager app is configured determine which users are associated with which merchants and which subscription plans by way of a blockchain subscription plan invoicing and payment processing capability which enables collection of user and merchant information, subscription plan set up and payment information and gives the user and merchant a “look and feel” of a universal centralized payment system despite interactions with the subscription smart contracts/wallets over the blockchain decentralized network.
Claims20
A method for managing decentralized cryptocurrency payments, the method comprising:
- receiving via a merchant user interface merchant instructions;
- configuring a recurring cryptocurrency payment subscription plan according to the received merchant instructions;
- generating a link or code for a user device for retrieving the configured recurring cryptocurrency payment subscription plan including a cryptocurrency payment destination address associated with the merchant to set up cryptocurrency recurring payments according to the configured subscription payment plan;
- generating a subscription payment plan invoice in a computing system for payment from a user cryptocurrency wallet according to the configured subscription plan;
- the subscription payment plan invoice including details of the configured subscription payment plan and the link or code for a user to set up a cryptocurrency recurring payments according to the configured subscription payment plan;
- in response to activation of the link or code via a subscriber user interface, retrieving the configured subscription plan;
- generating a blockchain recurring payment request based on the retrieved configured subscription plan for interacting with a blockchain subscription payment plan smart contract for recurring payments according to blockchain subscription payment terms of the configured blockchain subscription payment plan;
- wherein the blockchain recurring payment request includes the cryptocurrency payment destination address associated with the merchant;
- generating an authorization request on the subscriber user interface for allowing the blockchain subscription payment plan smart contract to execute recurring payments from the user cryptocurrency wallet to the cryptocurrency payment destination address associated with the merchant according to the configured subscription payment plan;
- and
- providing the blockchain recurring payment request to the user cryptocurrency wallet in response to receiving a subscriber user interface entered approval of the authorization request, for cryptographic signing by the user cryptocurrency wallet.

A non-transitory, computer-readable medium comprising program code that, when executed by one or more processors of a computer system, causes the one or more processors to perform a method for managing decentralized cryptocurrency payments, the method comprising:
- receiving via a merchant user interface merchant instructions;
- configuring a recurring cryptocurrency payment subscription plan according to the received merchant instructions;
- generating a link or code for a user device for retrieving the configured recurring cryptocurrency payment subscription plan including a cryptocurrency payment destination address associated with the merchant to set up cryptocurrency recurring payments according to the configured subscription payment plan;
- generating a subscription payment plan invoice in a computing system for payment from a user cryptocurrency wallet according to the configured subscription plan;
- the subscription payment plan invoice including details of the configured subscription payment plan and the link or code for a user to set up a cryptocurrency recurring payments according to the configured subscription payment plan;
- in response to activation of the link or code via a subscriber user interface, retrieving the configured subscription plan;
- generating a blockchain recurring payment request based on the retrieved configured subscription plan for interacting with a blockchain subscription payment plan smart contract for recurring payments according to blockchain subscription payment terms of the configured blockchain subscription payment plan;
- wherein the blockchain recurring payment request includes the cryptocurrency payment destination address associated with the merchant;
- generating an authorization request on the subscriber user interface for allowing the blockchain subscription payment plan smart contract to execute recurring payments from the user cryptocurrency wallet to the cryptocurrency payment destination address associated with the merchant according to the configured subscription payment plan;
- and
- providing the blockchain recurring payment request to the user cryptocurrency wallet in response to receiving a subscriber user interface entered approval of the authorization request, for cryptographic signing by the user cryptocurrency wallet.

- generate a blockchain recurring payment request based on the retrieved configured subscription plan for interacting with a blockchain subscription payment plan smart contract for recurring payments according to blockchain subscription payment terms of the configured blockchain subscription payment plan;
- wherein the blockchain recurring payment request includes the cryptocurrency payment destination address associated with the merchant;
- generate an authorization request on a subscriber user interface for allowing the blockchain subscription payment plan smart contract to execute recurring payments from the user cryptocurrency wallet to the cryptocurrency payment destination address associated with the merchant according to the configured subscription payment plan;
- and
- provide the blockchain recurring payment request to the user cryptocurrency wallet in response to receiving a subscriber user interface entered approval of the authorization request, for cryptographic signing by the user cryptocurrency wallet.
