An information processing apparatus connected to an image processing apparatus including a display section, the information processing apparatus comprising:

• a first central processing unit (CPU) that
• acquires, from a second CPU that performs face authentication processing based on a coincidence rate between a face image corresponding to registered first face data and a captured image of a face of a user, the coincidence rate;
• in the face authentication processing, when the user is authenticated based on the acquired coincidence rate that is higher than or equal to a first level, controls the display section to display an execution instruction screen for receiving an execution instruction of image processing to be executed by the image processing apparatus;
• in the face authentication processing, when the user is not authenticated based on determination that the acquired coincidence rate is less than the first level and greater than or equal to a second level, controls the display section to display an imaging guidance screen that prompts imaging of the user for performing the face authentication processing again;
• and
• in the face authentication processing, when the user is not authenticated based on determination that the acquired coincidence rate is less than the first level and is a third level that is less than the second level, controls the display section to display a registration guidance screen that prompts the user to register the first face data.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a control program for controlling an image processing apparatus including a display section, the control program for causing a computer to perform processing comprising:

• an acquisition function that acquires, from a central processing unit (CPU) that performs face authentication processing based on a coincidence rate between a face image corresponding to registered first face data and a captured image of a face of a user, the coincidence rate;
• and
• a processing function that
• displays, when the user is authenticated by the face authentication processing based on the acquired coincidence rate that is higher than or equal to a first level, an execution instruction screen for receiving an execution instruction of image processing to be executed by the image processing apparatus on the display section;
• displays, when the user is not authenticated by the face authentication processing based on determination that the acquired coincidence rate is less than the first level and greater than or equal to a second level, an imaging guidance screen that prompts imaging of the user for performing the face authentication processing again;
• and
• displays, when the user is not authenticated by the face authentication processing based on determination that the acquired coincidence rate is less than the first level and is a third level that is less than the second level, a registration guidance screen that prompts the user to register the first face data.

An image processing apparatus comprising:

• a display section;
• and
• a first central processing unit (CPU) that
• acquires, from a second CPU that performs face authentication processing based on a coincidence rate between a face image corresponding to registered first face data and a captured image of a face of a user, the coincidence rate;
• in the face authentication processing, when the user is authenticated based on the acquired coincidence rate that is higher than or equal to a first level, controls the display section to display an execution instruction screen for receiving an execution instruction of image processing;
• in the face authentication processing, when the user is not authenticated based on determination that the acquired coincidence rate is less than the first level and greater than or equal to a second level, controls the display section to display an imaging guidance screen that prompts imaging of the user for performing the face authentication processing again;
• and
• in the face authentication processing, when the user is not authenticated based on determination that the acquired coincidence rate is less than the first level and is a third level that is less than the second level, controls the display section to display a registration guidance screen that prompts the user to register the first face data.
