Abstract
A display device includes: a display layer; a sensor layer on the display layer; and a sensor driver to drive the sensor layer. The sensor layer includes: a plurality of sensing electrodes; a plurality of sensing lines connected to the plurality of sensing electrodes, respectively; a multiplexer circuit connected to the plurality of sensing lines, and including a control transistor including a gate electrode; and a connection line connected between the multiplexer circuit and the sensor driver. The sensor driver includes a sensing circuit connected between the connection line and the gate electrode of the control transistor, and to output a control signal to the gate electrode of the control transistor based on a sensing signal of the connection line.
Claims13
A display device comprising:
- a display layer;
- a sensor layer on the display layer;
- and
- a sensor driver configured to drive the sensor layer,
- wherein the sensor layer comprises:
- a plurality of sensing electrodes;
- a plurality of sensing lines connected to the plurality of sensing electrodes, respectively;
- a multiplexer circuit connected to the plurality of sensing lines, and comprising a control transistor including a gate electrode;
- and
- a connection line connected between the multiplexer circuit and the sensor driver, and
- wherein the sensor driver comprises a sensing circuit connected between the connection line and the gate electrode of the control transistor, and configured to output a control signal to the gate electrode of the control transistor based on a sensing signal of the connection line to electrically connect one of the plurality of sensing lines to the connection line when the control transistor is turned on by the control signal.
